Our company is seeking an experienced Maintenanace Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the routine and preventative maintenance of all company‑owned self‑storage facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role requires broad construction and maintenance knowledge across basic trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, custodial) and strong coordination skills to manage facility teams, site superintendents, and subcontractors. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures repairs, preventative maintenance, and small‑scale projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight Perform routine facility maintenance, including HVAC filter changes, light bulb replacements, minor plumbing repairs, lock change‑outs, touch‑up painting, and general repairs. Conduct routine roof inspections, clear gutters and downspouts, and perform minor roof repairs or replacements. Coordinate, supervise, and verify subcontractor work for major repairs or specialized tasks. Ensure all maintenance and repair activities meet project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. Manage preventative maintenance programs and warranty work for roofs, HVAC systems, and other equipment. Safety & Compliance Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards across all job sites. Investigate, document, and report incidents or accidents. Promote a safe working environment through proactive hazard identification and mitigation. Scheduling & Coordination Work with facility managers to identify maintenance needs and update project schedules. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and subcontractor timelines. Resolve delays, conflicts, or logistical issues that impact project progress. Quality Control Oversee quality assurance processes for all maintenance and repair work. Ensure all work meets specifications, building codes, and company standards. Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective measures. Communication & Reporting Serve as the primary liaison between facility operations, project management, and executive leadership. Prepare and deliver maintenance updates, project status reports, and issue summaries as needed. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in maintenance, construction, or related trades. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and safety standards. Highly organized, proactive, and self‑motivated. Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to travel between facilities during the work week; occasional weekend work as needed. Work Conditions Primarily field‑based with frequent travel between facilities. May require weekend or evening work depending on project demands. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
