JOB DESCRIPTION

Hours:

Mondays through Fridays 9am-5pm Qualified applicant will be responsible with the management of one of the largest communities in our area. We are eager to hire someone who can handle working with contractors, gathering proposals, completing work requests from residents in a timely manner, trimming trees, and maintaining the property in a professional manner with high standards. This grounds maintenance technician is responsible for common area repairs and all grounds maintenance. This person will play a crucial role in maintaining outdoor spaces, cleanliness, safety, and functionality including, but not limited to, our clubhouse, two pools and associated buildings, two pavilions, pickle ball, tennis, and volleyball courts, three playgrounds, lake fountain maintenance and walking trails. This is a full time opportunity perfect for those looking to supplement. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee contracts for the property ensuring all contractors are held to Coventry's standards abiding by set contracts and holding them accountable to completion. Gather proposals and bids for work in the community outside the scope of the maintenance position. Be able to meet with vendors and oversee work throughout the community. Complete work requests from residents in a timely manner not to exceed 30 days. Trim trees and maintain cleanliness of the property. Update the marquee signs bimonthly Take out and bring in the trash cans weekly Maintain light fixtures throughout the neighborhood. Power wash, paint, and perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Maintain Coventry tools, spaces, and maintenance truck with care and diligence. Check in with office staff at the beginning of each shift to ensure priorities are met according to incoming requests. Upkeep the property with high standards including but not limited to general repairs, picking up litter, and ground maintenance. Interact with staff and homeowners with professionalism and care. Be able to communicate with staff and board members via email, phone, and text. Be familiar with and maintain the grounds and amenities of Coventry including playgrounds, pools, walking paths, tennis courts, volley ball courts, and lakes. This position will be a part time position with no benefits or vacation time offered. Annual reviews with potential raises will occur March of every year. This position is for immediate hire with a 90 day probation period.

REPORTS TO

This position will report directly to the office onsite manager on day to day operations as well as community projects , the master board president will also be included on communications of task and projects and will provide direction of all upcoming projects that the board approves. Any member of the master board is permitted to suggest tasks as they arise throughout the community. The office staff will be the direct line of communication between the residents of the community and the maintenance supervisor. Any requests that come in must be filed through the office via CAF forms. Daily logs are required to track efficiency and tasks completion.
