Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help create a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance skills in a fast-paced setting where teamwork and problem-solving are key. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance. Repair and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other mechanical repairs to maintain facility aesthetics and functionality. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and system adjustments. Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, electrical equipment repair, maintenance painting, and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) tasks. Read and interpret schematics for electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building interior maintenance projects. Supervise or assist with team tasks related to facilities maintenance while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels. Support plumbing system maintenance including repairs of pipes, fixtures, and drainage issues. Lead or assist with HVAC system repairs such as replacing filters or repairing compressors to ensure climate control efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or residential settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and electrical equipment repair techniques. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, PLCs, HVAC systems (including HVAC repair), plumbing systems, and electrical work. Ability to operate testing tools like ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork coordination. Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for guiding junior team members or managing projects. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and general facilities maintenance is essential.
