POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Lead is a working leader responsible for performing and coordinating maintenance activities, driving preventive maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, and supporting safe manufacturing operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead daily maintenance activities and prioritize work orders based on business needs.
  • Train and mentor maintenance team members.
  • Coordinate contractor activities and maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct proactive inspections and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain mixers, pumps, filling equipment, forklifts, compressors and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and spare parts.
  • Go to customers' facilities and perform maintenance on our equipment
  • Champion the 3
P's of Maintenance:
Prevention, Prediction and Proactivity.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and facility systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Standing, climbing and bending required.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Trade certifications are a plus.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
