This role is responsible for developing and executing maintenance and reliability strategies that support safe, efficient, and profitable operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution. You'll lead maintenance personnel, improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Establish clear expectations, priorities, and performance standards for maintenance personnel. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to support business objectives. Maintenance & Reliability Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. Improve equipment reliability and maximize asset performance. Reduce unplanned downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability issues and improvement opportunities. Establish and maintain maintenance best practices, systems, and processes. Prioritize maintenance activities and allocate resources effectively. Manufacturing Equipment Support Provide leadership and support for maintenance activities across the manufacturing operation. Ensure equipment is maintained to support production, quality, safety, and efficiency goals. Respond to critical equipment issues and help coordinate effective solutions. Support planned shutdowns, repairs, and urgent maintenance needs. Continuous Improvement & Projects Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, productivity, reliability, and cost control. Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and asset performance. Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives. Implement technologies and systems that improve maintenance effectiveness and operational performance. Qualifications 7+ years of maintenance and reliability leadership experience required. Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and performance metrics such as OEE. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze equipment performance data and make informed operational decisions. Strong initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Engineering or Engineering Technology degree preferred.
