Sr. Manager - Equipment Reliability & Maintenance

Job Description

Job Description This leadership role is responsible for driving equipment reliability and maintenance strategy across a large manufacturing operation. The team is focused on improving uptime, reducing downtime, strengthening predictive and preventative maintenance programs, and building a data-driven reliability culture. The position will lead maintenance supervisors and play a key role in developing talent, including employees coming through apprenticeship programs. The organization is also investing in advanced machine monitoring technology and predictive maintenance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead equipment reliability and maintenance initiatives across manufacturing operations
  • Drive improvements in downtime, response times, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and other maintenance KPIs
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures
  • Develop and expand predictive and preventative maintenance programs
  • Standardize maintenance processes, CMMS utilization, planning, scheduling, and asset management
  • Coach and develop maintenance leaders and skilled trades teams

  • Engineering degree or strong engineering background
  • 8+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience
  • Experience within machining, gearing, welding, heat treatment, or similar manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and
CMMS/EAM
systems (SAP experience is a plus)
  • Project management experience
