Schedule:

1st Shift We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner with a minimum of four years of experience supporting high-speed packaging, processing, or manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position supports a maintenance department operating 24/7 across three shifts and requires a strong team player who can collaborate effectively across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experience managing maintenance planning and scheduling activities to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

This role requires exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, CMMS systems, and maintenance reporting tools while maintaining professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information. Key Responsibilities

Uphold all safety, health, and environmental standards while ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations

Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximize efficiency and equipment uptime

Identify and coordinate required parts, materials, tools, and outside services needed for maintenance work

Analyze maintenance and operational data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for improving equipment reliability and plant performance

Procure and manage maintenance parts, supplies, and inventory to support timely completion of work orders

Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, benchmarks, and tracking systems focused on safety, reliability, and operational efficiency

Oversee invoices, purchase orders, contractor work, and maintenance work orders to ensure accuracy and completion

Maintain and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including tracking labor allocation, work orders, and contractor utilization

Support and track Bottom Line Impact Projects (BLIPs) to drive cost savings and operational improvements

Manage Group Sheets and Purchase Order Requests (PORs) for workflow accuracy and financial tracking

Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external vendors and contractors

Provide backup support to the Maintenance Manager as needed to ensure continuity of operations

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of maintenance planning experience in manufacturing, packaging, or processing environments

Experience supporting high-speed production equipment required

Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance principles

Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Experience with inventory management, purchasing, and contractor coordination preferred
