Job Description

Loudoun Water, located in Ashburn VA is a public utility that provides water and wastewater service to customers in Loudoun County. We are seeking an Administrative Report Technician with good communication skills and strong analytical knowledge to support water meter performance and accuracy. This includes analyzing water meter performance through multiple programs and communicating information to correct departments for proper follow-up, along with communication with customers. This also includes leading and maintaining Loudoun Water's Hydrant Meter Rental Program.
Essential Functions:
Leads, plans, organizes, coordinates and enforces Loudoun Water's Hydrant Meter Rental Program to include outside truck inspections. Analyze the Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Meter Data Management System and Business Intelligence Reports and process Work Orders promptly. Analyzing meter usage data for irregular usage patterns. Notifying customers of potential leaks. Creating and completing work orders.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Graduation from high school (an associate degree is preferred), three years experience in progressively responsible and complex utility billing and technical assignments and three years of direct customer service experience, preferably with a public utility. System knowledge and strong analytical skills required. Advanced education may be substituted for some work experience. Must be proficient in
MS Office Suite Special Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license; Ability to obtain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification and other certifications as needed. Work overtime as required to carry out job responsibilities and duties. Full-time Office Environment. Subject to occasional work outside in all weather conditions as needed.
Salary Range:
$54,400 - $70,400 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will remain open until filled. EOE Apply online at www.loudounwater.org.
