This role offers a unique opportunity for technicians at various experience levels, from Level 1 through Level 6, to develop and refine their mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility. Your technical proficiency and proactive approach will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and continuous production flow. This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their skills in industrial maintenance and engineering troubleshooting while contributing to a high-energy production environment. Duties Install, align, dismantle, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery using precision measuring instruments, schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Perform electrical diagnostics on systems including electrical systems, electrical blueprint reading, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, and electrical troubleshooting with tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters. Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting; repair or replace components as needed to ensure smooth operation. Read and understand Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Perform welding tasks including stick welding; read schematics for HVAC/R systems; troubleshoot HVAC systems; perform repairs or replacements as necessary. Analyze equipment performance issues through technical analysis skills; recommend improvements or repairs that enhance operational efficiency. Follow safety protocols diligently; participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to electrical systems, high voltage work, and mechanical repairs. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics including troubleshooting electrical systems using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters; familiarity with PLC programming is preferred. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems troubleshooting; experience with equipment repair in an industrial setting is essential. Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding; familiarity with HVAC/R systems is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
Pay:
$20.50 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
