$33 - $41 per hour

Downey, CA | In Person We are seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing operation in Downey, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for maintenance professionals with experience in food, beverage, packaging, consumer products or other high-speed manufacturing environments . The Maintenance Mechanic will troubleshoot, repair and maintain production, processing, packaging and facility equipment. We're looking for hands-on mechanics who are comfortable troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems and responding to equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair and maintain high-speed production and packaging equipment Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment failures Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, fillers and packaging equipment Troubleshoot sensors, switches, relays, motor controls and other electrical components Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments and line setups Perform welding, fabrication and basic machining as needed Support refrigeration, boilers, compressors and plant utility systems based on experience Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs Work closely with Production, Sanitation and Engineering to improve equipment reliability What We're Looking For 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Experience in food, beverage, dairy, packaging or high-speed manufacturing strongly preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability Electrical troubleshooting experience Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to troubleshoot automated/PLC-controlled production equipment Ability to follow LOTO and plant safety procedures Experience working within GMP and food-safety requirements is a plus Compensation & Benefits $33 - $41 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
