• Night Shift Millwright Position Available
• We are looking for an experienced Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) to join our night shift at our sawmill located in Statesboro, GA.

• Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair sawmill equipment and machinery. Perform preventative maintenance. Fabricate and modify equipment as needed. Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Utilize welding, cutting, and power tools.

• Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is required.

Experience should include troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of various production equipment, including belts, sprockets, chains, shafts, gears, motor/drive alignment, and pumps. Strong skills in stick welding and fabrication, along with a solid understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, are essential. Please note that this is not solely a welding position; extensive experience in all aspects of heavy production equipment maintenance is necessary. A high priority will be placed on job stability in previous positions.

• Compensation:

• Pay is based on experience. Approximately $20 per hour for little to no experience, and $30 or more for highly experienced candidates.

• Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM.
