Job Description
Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment in all areas of the plant. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment that has failed. Maintain equipment to insure a trouble-free operation. Perform repairs in a quick and safe manner. Report any unusual machine action or noise. Complete equipment preventive maintenance activities to maximize plant up time. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude & basic electrical knowledge Welding skills Ability to read technical writing and schematics Math skills Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles Experience in alignment and power transmission Proficient with hand and power tools Fire and chemical hazard knowledge Experience working on high bay overhead crane Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
