Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Process Technician, you prepare and set up injection molding machines for production runs, ensure they operate efficiently, and adjust molds and machine parameters to support consistent, high-quality output in a plastics manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Prepare injection molding machines for scheduled production runs, including setup, calibration, and basic pre-run checks. Ensure machines are running efficiently throughout the shift by monitoring performance, identifying issues, and making necessary adjustments. Change and modify molds as needed, including adjusting temperature and other process parameters to meet production and quality requirements. Perform routine maintenance tasks. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial machinery. Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Work Environment This role is based in a hot, non-climate-controlled injection molding and plastics facility. You will work around industrial machinery and production equipment, following safety requirements such as wearing steel-toe footwear, protective eyewear, and other designated personal protective equipment.
