Are you mechanically or electrically inclined and interested in turning those abilities into a long-term technical career? Ameripak is seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to join our technical service team. In this position, you will learn how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial packaging equipment. Previous experience as a service technician is helpful, but it is not required. If you have strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn, our experienced technicians will provide paid, hands-on training. This opportunity may be a great fit for someone with a background in automotive repair, manufacturing, maintenance, electrical work, HVAC, welding, construction, agricultural equipment, military mechanical work, or another hands-on trade. What You Will Learn Our technical team will train you to inspect, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial packaging machinery, including stretch wrappers, conveyors, and related equipment.

Your training will cover:

Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance procedures and equipment inspections Machine installation, setup, and operational testing Motors, belts, rollers, bearings, sensors, switches, and other machine components Basic electrical diagrams and equipment manuals Proper use of diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools Accurate service documentation Professional communication with customers Your Responsibilities As you gain experience and technical knowledge, you will be responsible for: Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues Completing repairs and preventive maintenance Identifying and replacing damaged or worn components Assisting with machine installations and start-ups Testing equipment to verify safe and dependable operation Preparing accurate service and repair documentation Keeping tools, parts, company vehicles, and work areas organized Following Ameripak and customer safety requirements Communicating professionally with customers and coworkers Traveling occasionally to customer facilities for service work What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude A sincere interest in learning how industrial equipment works Experience or confidence using hand and power tools Dependable attendance and punctuality Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills The ability to work both independently and with a team A professional attitude when working at customer facilities A willingness to follow instruction and continue developing new skills Previous industrial equipment service experience is not required. We are prepared to train the right candidate.
