Job Description

As an industry leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor since 1985, EnviroVantage, Inc is looking to add to our incredible team. Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, EnviroVantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition.
Essential Functions:
Work on site supporting different tasks for demolition and construction projects Torch cutting different types of material Rigging experience helpful Ability to adhere to all OSHA; EPA; as well as other federal agency, state and company hazardous materials laws and policies. Be a strong team leader/player with a positive attitude who is hard working and motivated every day
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years construction experience required OSHA 10 and
HAZWOPER 40
required. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire Experience with construction hand tools required Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required. Torch cutting and Rigging experience preferred, but not required. High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not required
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
Coordination:
Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites
Attendance:
Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job function
Working Conditions:
Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary
Lifting:
Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
Climbing:
Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders Regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Total Rewards At EnviroVantage, we're committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and work-life balance.
Compensation Compensation Range:
$32.00 - $35.00/hour Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Benefits Health Insurance:
Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of the month following date of hire.
Retirement Plans:
401(k) - 100% company match on the first 4% of employee contributions. Paid Time Off & Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year
Sick Time:
56 hours per year
Paid Holidays:
