Job Description

2nd shift
  • 3pm to 11pm (Mon/Fri) 3rd shift
  • 11pm to 7am (Sun/Thurs) Position Summary Seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment.
This role is critical to minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. Pay is based on experience. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Work with PLC systems for basic troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred) Maintain and repair robotics and automated equipment as needed Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately within CMMS systems Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley preferred) Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus Familiarity with robotics (Fanuc or similar) is a plus Strong problem-solving and communication skills Education & Certifications High school diploma or GED required Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred Electrical certification or journeyman card is a plus Work Environment Fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility Exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and industrial conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces as needed
