A Millwright installs and assembles large industrial machines, such as the equipment in manufacturing facilities. Disassembles and moves machinery between factory sites, and makes repairs. May work at power plants and construction sites.
$38.94/hour We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician/Millwright to repair and maintain production machinery, equipment, and facility systems. This position requires experience in machine repair, welding, fabrication, pipefitting, and millwright work.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble machinery. Maintain CNC machines, assembly lines, material handling systems, and lubrication equipment. Replace worn or defective components and make adjustments to spindles, gearboxes, and clutches. Repair hydraulic and air lines. Fabricate, fit, and weld structural and machine components. Install, relocate, align, and balance machinery. Follow safety standards and support equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of maintenance, millwright, welding, machine repair, or pipefitting experience. Trade school, technical degree, military training, or apprenticeship preferred. Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred. Journeyperson certification, UAW Skilled Trades card, DOL apprenticeship completion, or related technical degree preferred.
