Millwright Foreman Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Millwright Foreman with over 5 years of experience leading crews. The ideal candidate should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have extensive industrial construction experience, with the capability to thrive in demanding environments. The role involves safely installing, moving, aligning, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and machinery. Candidates must perform structural and mechanical welding to fabricate, modify, and repair industrial equipment, machine bases, and structural steel on site. Additionally, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is essential. Responsibilities Lead and manage construction crews effectively. Safely install, move, align, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery. Perform structural and mechanical welding to fabricate, modify, and repair industrial equipment, machine bases, and structural steel. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience leading construction crews. Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial construction experience. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience with rigging, mechanical aptitude, forklift and crane operating. Skills in pulley, laser alignment, industrial maintenance, calibration, shafts, torch cutting, saws, MIG welding, stick welding, flux core welding, industrial equipment, and CAD drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications preferred but not required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
