EXPERIENCED INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Pacific Woodtech (PWT) is seeking an experienced full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our Wilmington, NC facility!
Who you are:
Industrial Mechanic with 5 or more years of experience; Vocational training may be substituted for experience A keen problem solver with an aptitude for creating innovative solutions A systems thinker who considers downstream impacts A seasoned mechanic with the ability to assess and repair industrial machines or systems An excellent communicator with the ability to explain mechanical concepts A dependable, collaborative team member An enthusiastic learner, driven to take on new challenges Experience with hydraulics, roller conveyors, and fabrication is a plus! Repair or maintain industrial production machinery and equipment Perform on-site, facility-wide maintenance in various weather conditions Operate, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, motors, and pumps Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts Perform routine, preventative maintenance on equipment Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs Communicate mechanical concepts to all levels of staff and management Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot and maintain equipment performance Continuously innovate to support optimized production capacity Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Abilities:
Ability to perform all the essential duties listed above Knowledge of basic electricity principles
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7am-7pm Must have the ability to work on call (including weekends) and holidays Occasional night shift
