Compensation:
$28/hr to $32/hr
Schedule:
12-hour rotational shifts Core Duties Handle the installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and restoration of mechanical systems and factory machinery. Execute routine, proactive, and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure facility systems and production lines remain operational. Identify and resolve mechanical failures in power transmission units, compressors, bearings, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and conveyor systems. Utilize precision measurement devices and alignment equipment to accurately level and set up industrial machinery. Analyze technical manuals, mechanical schematics, and blueprints to guide repair and installation processes. Conduct thorough equipment assessments to suggest upgrades that boost reliability and minimize unexpected production halts. Assist in the execution of capital improvement initiatives, plant growth projects, and new machinery setups. Restore or swap out critical mechanical parts such as seals, bearings, chains, belts, couplings, and shafts. Required Background Completion of a GED or high school diploma is mandatory. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Millwright or in a similar mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing setting. Comprehensive understanding of rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, power transmission, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in rigging, machining, fabrication, and welding techniques. Foundational familiarity with automation hardware, PLCs, and industrial electrical components.
