Job Description
We are looking for a energetic motivated experienced maintenance individual to work as part of a team to undertake the responsibility of maintenance/repair of building/equipment. This is a critical role which contributes directly to the achievement of the success of the company and continued payout of employee bonus programs. Must have a mechanical mindset and enjoy troubleshooting diagnosis and repair. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the building and equipment in a safe, efficient and running manner. Responsibilities Ability to effectively diagnose equipment failures/issues through excellent troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated ability to identify root cause issues, think outside of the box and facilitate quick and effective repair and resolve of both building and equipment issues. Responsibility includes both general building systems, Thermoforming equipment, Injection Molding Equipment, Extrusion Equipment and Printing equipment. Auxiliary equipment to include grinders, belts, conveyors and other equipment used in the manufacturing of plastic products. Perform manual repairs when necessary Skills Prior experience in repair/troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and facility Good Mechanical experience with any type of equipment is required to be successful in this role. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, manufacturing equipment and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime High school diploma, vocational school or experience is accepted.
