Power Labor is hiring experienced Millwrights and Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a hands-on industrial opportunity in Columbus, Ohio. This is an indoor shop position for mechanically skilled tradespeople who are comfortable working around machinery, moving equipment and materials, and performing physically active mechanical work throughout the day. We currently have openings on both 1st and 2nd shift.

PAY & SCHEDULE

$28

•30 per hour, based on experience 1st

Shift:

5:00 AM

•2:00 PM 2nd

Shift:

2:00 PM

•10:00 PM

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

This is a hands-on position working with industrial machinery, equipment, and materials. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, and able to work safely and efficiently in an active shop environment.

Responsibilities may include:

Installing, positioning, moving, and handling industrial machinery and equipment Assisting with mechanical maintenance and equipment-related tasks Using hand and power tools Measuring, aligning, positioning, and securing equipment and materials Troubleshooting mechanical issues Moving and handling materials throughout the shop Maintaining a safe and organized work area Following jobsite and shop safety procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who can work with their hands, think mechanically, and keep up in a physically active industrial environment.

Qualified candidates should have:

Previous millwright, industrial maintenance, mechanical, and related experience Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work around industrial machinery and equipment Experience using common hand and power tools Ability to lift, move, position, and handle machinery and materials safely Good mobility and agility for working around equipment and within a shop environment Dependability and a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and transportation Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Indoor industrial shop Physically active, hands-on work Regular standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, and material handling Work around machinery, equipment, and industrial materials This is not a desk job. Candidates should be comfortable being on their feet and physically engaged throughout the workday.
