Job Description

We are looking for an experienced dump truck driver/laborer to be part of our excavation team. Must have a strong work ethic to be part of our dynamic concrete and excavation teams building Parks, Streets, ADA ramps, Downtown restorations, etc. Must be willing to drive a concrete Ready-Mix truck to keep busy on down-time and when needed. We do not expect you to know everything; we encourage learning and advancement; if you are a hardworking individual who aspires to learn and progress in a growing company, we encourage you to apply. Traveling may be a possibility with this position, and can be at random times for random lengths. If you would be open to traveling, we travel within the entire state of Oregon, depending on where jobs come up. Out of town work is Monday - Thursday, where local is Monday - Friday. You would be set up in a hotel, we would pay for the hotel and add per-diem as well. Availability/flexibility for potential travel is required.
Skills/Qualifications/Requirements:
Class A CDL with no restrictions Able to drive a manual Reliable transportation Valid Med Card Mechanically inclined is a bonus Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently Hard working and Self-Motivation important Must be willing to travel during the week within the state of Oregon Having Ready-Mix experience is a bonus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Work under foreman's direction Inspect truck and equipment and report any issues Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and materials delivered. Ability to drive dump trucks with flatbed trailers loaded with heavy equipment Load heavy construction equipment at yard and unload at job site Pick up materials and assist with placement at job site Work as a laborer/groundman or wherever is needed to stay busy
