Key Accountabilities:
Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation. Form, pour, and finish equipment foundations or pads for equipment. Construct and install equipment such as pumps, conveyors, chemical systems, by-pass pumping, and structural/miscellaneous metals. Review and understand engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures. Supervise construction workers, such as laborers, when using the equipment. Work with a range of hand tools including measuring/leveling tools, rigging, welding, and brazing equipment. Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening Ability to lift up to 50 pounds High School Diploma or Equivalent Qualification.
Experience:
Millwright Experience:
4 years In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery. Completion of an accredited millwright certificate program. Good communication skills. Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills. Must be able to work well in a team environment.
