PM Technician This role focuses on performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and furnaces while supporting the maintenance team and learning broader maintenance skills. You will work hands-on with mechanical systems, contribute to reliable production operations, and gradually grow into a more advanced maintenance position. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on machines, including greasing, oiling, and other routine service tasks. Add oil to furnaces and ensure proper lubrication and operation of related equipment. Change filters on furnaces and maintain clean, efficient operation of heat-treating equipment. Use hand and power tools to complete assigned maintenance and PM tasks safely and accurately. Assist the maintenance team with a wide range of tasks and learn maintenance procedures and best practices on the job. Support maintenance activities involving mechanical components, including basic troubleshooting and repairs under guidance. Assist equipment operators when requested to help maintain smooth production flow. Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document work performed according to company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all safety policies and procedures. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new maintenance skills and take on additional responsibilities over time. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
