The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refinery and industrial environments, along with the ability to perform mechanical work across both industrial and commercial facilities.
This position requires a hands-on professional who understands mechanical equipment, machinery installation, maintenance, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial mechanical equipment and machinery. Perform equipment installation, alignment, leveling, rigging, and positioning. Work with pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, piping systems, and other mechanical equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics. Perform precision equipment alignment using appropriate tools and measuring equipment. Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Utilize rigging and lifting equipment safely when moving or positioning machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and identify the root cause of equipment problems. Work safely in refinery, industrial, commercial, and construction environments. Follow all company, client, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, clients, and other trades. Perform additional mechanical and millwright duties as required. Required Qualifications Proven refinery experience is required. Demonstrated experience working in industrial environments. Experience performing millwright/mechanical work in commercial environments. Strong understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Experience with machinery installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Experience with equipment alignment and rigging. Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical equipment. Ability to work safely in demanding industrial and refinery environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
