We are hiring a Production Assembly I team members for a growing manufacturer in Grand Prairie that builds specialized water treatment and chemical feed/transfer equipment . This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, building things, solving problems, and seeing a project go from individual parts to a finished piece of equipment. This is not traditional repetitive assembly-line work. Depending on the equipment being built, you may start with a frame or panel, read a blueprint or assembly drawing, take measurements, cut PVC piping, drill and mount components, install valves and fittings, and assemble the complete piping system according to specification. Other equipment may involve installing and assembling pre-manufactured pumps, tubing, piping, controls and components into a completed water-treatment system. Every project requires someone who can pay attention to measurements, understand how components fit together, follow a drawing and take pride in building it correctly. What You'll Be Doing Read and follow blueprints, layouts and assembly drawings Measure materials accurately using a tape measure Measure and cut PVC pipe according to specifications Assemble PVC piping, fittings, valves and related components Drill holes and mount components onto frames and equipment panels Install pumps, gauges, flow meters, tubing and other components Assemble water-treatment and chemical feed/transfer equipment Use cordless drills, saws, tape measures and various hand and power tools Lay out components according to drawings before final assembly Check measurements and component placement for accuracy Inspect completed work for quality Learn different equipment designs and assembly processes as you develop Work independently once trained while remaining part of a team Who We're Looking For You do not need previous water-treatment experience to be successful in this position. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and naturally comfortable working with their hands.
