About the Role As an Industrial Machinery Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational continuity by maintaining and optimizing complex production systems. You will utilize your expertise in electrical diagnostics and mechanical repair to minimize downtime and enhance the efficiency of our industrial infrastructure. Responsibilities Execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of heavy-duty mechanical and electrical equipment. Diagnose and resolve complex system malfunctions using advanced testing tools like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Install and calibrate electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Fabricate and modify custom mechanical parts using metalworking techniques such as welding and oxyacetylene torch operation. Perform structural rigging and equipment alignment to maintain precise operational tolerances across the facility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety protocols and improve overall equipment effectiveness. Travel between regional sites to provide technical support and emergency maintenance as required. Required Skills 2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role. Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and complex mechanical systems. Strong electrical knowledge, including VFD programming and PLC diagnostics. Demonstrated ability to safely operate shop tools, forklifts, and high-lift equipment. Capability to perform physical tasks at heights, including work on ladders, scaffolds, and rooftops. Preferred Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Formal welding certification or specialized mechanical training. Experience with vibration monitoring and predictive maintenance strategies. Proven ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
