Job Description Maintain, fix, repair, and improve automated production equipment to support safety, quality, enhanced efficiency, and uptime goals. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, support equipment changeovers, and work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Solve issues and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems on automated manufacturing equipment. Perform maintenance and complete maintenance documentation. Repair and replace conveyors, belts, pneumatic valves, filters, sensors, and other production equipment components. Perform equipment alignments and support production changeovers. Tackle vision inspection systems and automated equipment controls. Coordinate fabrication of replacement parts and tooling with the Machine Shop. Mentor maintenance backup personnel and support continuous improvement initiatives. Work independently or as part of a team while maintaining compliance with safety and quality requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
Proficient with email and basic Microsoft Office applications. Strong mechanical skills in fixing and problem-solving. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCE
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Two or more years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, automation maintenance, packaging equipment maintenance, or related technical experience. Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Experience fixing automated equipment, sensors, conveyors, and production machinery. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and follow technical instructions.
