Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Millwright to join our team. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with union standards and company expectations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experienced Millwrights are preferred and encouraged to apply; however, candidates with less experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions Use precision measurement tools to ensure proper alignment and tolerances Perform welding and fabrication as needed Work with rigging equipment to move heavy machinery safely Adhere to all safety regulations, union guidelines, and company policies Collaborate with other trades and team members on job sites Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
Qualifications:
Active membership in a recognized Millwright Union (or ability to obtain) Previous experience as a Millwright in industrial or commercial settings preferred Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints Welding (all processes) and fabrication experience is a plus Experience with rigging and precision alignment is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs) Stand, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods
Work Environment:
Industrial and construction job sites Outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project needs
Benefits:

$23.00 - $38.00 per hour
