We're hiring a Millwright based out of our Clinton, WI location to support our grain elevator and agronomy facilities. About the Role This position supports our elevators and agronomy locations with repairs, preventative maintenance, and new construction projects — keeping our critical grain handling and processing equipment running safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Weld repairs on existing structures and equipment Install new structures and equipment Repair conveyance equipment (chain conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators) Perform preventative maintenance — greasing, checking tension, checking oil levels Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns Identify and implement safety improvements Log completed work in our online CMMS Collaborate with OSHA and outside consultants on project management Help resolve production bottlenecks What We're Looking For 2+ years of welding experience (stick and MIG) Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to install bearings, motors, and gearboxes 2+ years of experience operating heavy machinery (skid loaders, telehandlers, etc.) Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and other measuring devices Prior grain handling experience preferred, but not required High School Diploma or GED Trade school certificate preferred Ability to obtain DNSF, CSX, NCCCO, and TWIC certifications if required Additional Requirements Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends Valid driver's license and proof of insurance Ability to stand, bend, and reach for 8 hours at a time Ability to climb up to 200' Ability to work in confined spaces Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead, repeatedly Ability to work outdoors year-round in a sometimes dusty environment All tools supplied Benefits Affordable Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx, and Life insurance 401(k) with company match FSA and Dependent Care Accounts Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Life, and Voluntary Long-Term Disability coverage The DeLong Co., Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
