The Maintenance Technician is required to perform tasks related to installation, maintenance and repairing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical and electrical systems on all production machines, equipment and building in addition to tasks that may involve the upkeep of the building and grounds.
Job Duties :
Receives assigned work orders to complete on equipment. Keeps logs of appropriate information for documentation and tracking. Performs scheduled PMs and visually inspects and tests assigned machines and equipment for proper functionality. May need to complete requisition forms for parts needed. Perform repairs on production machines and or equipment when a malfunction has been detected. Be aware of any machine operation variations and discuss with supervisors to diagnose problem. Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Perform machine installations and moves as needed. Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Develop, coordinate and track project list activities. Ensure high level of safety is adhered to always on and off the production floor.
Qualifications :
2 year technical degree is required. 5 years of industrial maintenance experience may be substituted for a degree.
