Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of Thermo King and Carrier reefer units and auxiliary power units (APUs) Assemble & Install Transport Refrigeration and heating Components such as motors, compressors, and gauges Measure, cut, and connect piping Read wiring diagrams, install and calibrate related controls Test lines for leaks Overhaul entire Refrigeration systems Service and Repair Diesel engines Recharge systems with refrigerant and perform routine maintenance Perform pre-start up checks on equipment and communicates repairs necessary Diesel engine, Genset Container, and VP Truck experience a plus. Must have 608 EPA certification, own tools, be able to read electric & refrigeration schematics. Take night and weekend call outs in rotation with other technicians. Must be able lift and work with no restrictions. Must have own tools, clean driving record, and a valid Florida Driver License. All Techs are required to maintain a DOT Medical to drive the company service truck (Company Paid). Will train on new equipment.
