Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in the maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide range of mechanical and HVAC systems. In this role, you will be the frontline expert responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment across various client sites. Your technical expertise will ensure optimal operation of essential systems while providing outstanding customer service. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications and schematics. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using technical diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards. Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to multiple job sites; manage tools and equipment efficiently for each task. Diagnose mechanical failures in heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related systems; execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports documenting all repairs, inspections, and installations performed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with all completed work. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair (including air conditioning), refrigeration maintenance, and kitchen equipment servicing. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams. Skilled in diagnosing issues within mechanical systems repair using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology trends as well as maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices. Ability to operate construction tools safely; experience with construction or building maintenance is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; commitment to safety standards at all times. Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
