Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of refrigeration and mechanical systems across various facilities. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and safety of refrigeration equipment, HVAC systems, and related mechanical components. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and installing systems with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of our clients' environments, ensuring comfort, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, HVAC systems, boilers, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to identify system faults. Repair or replace faulty components within refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing connections, electrical systems, and building automation systems. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Install new HVAC/R equipment including ductwork, piping, electrical wiring, and control systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Perform equipment troubleshooting to resolve complex mechanical or electrical problems promptly while minimizing downtime. Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports documenting inspections, repairs, and system modifications. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in refrigeration systems and HVAC repair. Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding building infrastructure and system integration. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as boilers and air conditioning units. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems (BAS), electrical diagnostics, plumbing connections, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to operate hand tools effectively along with specialized diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Experience working with refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations is required. From $2,150.00 per week
