Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Buffalo, NY area or already live within a reasonable commuting distance. Friday Schedule:
Monday•Friday 7:00am•3:30pm What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and A/C service Repair refrigeration diesel engines on trailer units Conduct safety inspections and complete required documentation Perform DOT inspections and trailer repairs when reefer units are fully operational Access and inspect undercarriages and mechanical components Remove and install parts as needed Maintain accurate service records (computer & manual entry) Communicate with clients via phone and email Follow all safety regulations and company procedures What You Must Have Proven experience with Reefer units (Thermo King and/or Carrier) EPA 608 Certification (Required) Experience with PMs and A/C systems Valid Driver's License Own hand tools and toolbox Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, fleet systems, email) Strong written and verbal communication skills Working Environment Exposure to heavy traffic areas Dust, diesel fumes, noise Oils, chemicals, and shop materials Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting heavy objects Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions Why Join Amerit?
