Duties and Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems Troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration equipment and system issues Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure proper equipment performance Work on commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems Opportunity to learn and work on CO₂ refrigeration systems and the latest refrigeration technology Provide excellent customer service and professional communication Perform HVAC system installation and maintenance Maintain accurate records of work performed Apply working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and plumbing when troubleshooting and servicing equipment Work independently as well as collaboratively with the service and dispatch teams Participate in the rotating emergency on-call schedule Skills and Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills 2+ years of experience in equipment repair, particularly commercial/industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems Experience using hand tools, gauges, and other testing equipment for HVAC/R troubleshooting EPA Type II certification Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness and ability to participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule, approximately 1 week per month , including nights and weekends Good working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and plumbing Schedule Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM This is a full-time, year-round position offering 40+ hours per week . Technicians also participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule approximately one week per month , which may include nights and weekends.
