Job Overview:
We're on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Restaurant Service Maintenance Technician to keep our kitchen and dining areas running smoothly. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing essential equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both staff and guests. If you enjoy working with mechanical systems and have a knack for troubleshooting, this could be the perfect fit for you! Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and repair issues with appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new kitchen equipment and appliances following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems, and other mechanical components to ensure optimal operation. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, report issues promptly, and coordinate repairs with vendors or internal teams. Support construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical expertise to ensure proper setup and integration of new systems. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair in commercial settings. Knowledge of refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with Management, staff and vendors. Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly and have a safe and clean driving record. Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus.
