Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems and mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and related mechanical systems across various commercial properties. Duties Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment in accordance with industry standards and schematics. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant system issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and HVAC/R testing devices. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, building automation systems, and ammonia refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoot complex equipment problems involving electrical diagnostics, plumbing connections, and mechanical system repairs to restore optimal operation. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately identify system components and repair procedures. Conduct field service calls for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance at various commercial sites while ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional service. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in commercial refrigeration, HVAC/R systems, or property maintenance. Construction experience or hands-on mechanical background is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with electrical systems diagnostics including the use of ohmmeters and electrical troubleshooting tools. Experience working with schematics, building automation systems, plumbing connections, and ammonia refrigeration is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment troubleshooting and repair of boilers, air conditioning units, appliances, and other mechanical systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
