Refrigeration Technician (Travel Project) Job Overview Risen Mechanical is currently seeking experienced Refrigeration Technicians for a project located in Boone and Winston-Salem , expected to run through approximately mid-November . This is a travel opportunity offering competitive pay, daily per diem, and consistent overtime hours. Technicians should have strong commercial and industrial refrigeration experience and be comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Night Shift Start:

6:00 PM - 6:30 PM Additional days may be available based on project needs Average 45+ hours per week Overtime opportunities available Pay & Benefits $110/day Per Diem (paid for days worked) Consistent overtime potential Project expected to last through mid-November Weekly pay Job Duties Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems Install evaporators, refrigeration piping, and refrigeration cases Perform refrigerant line installation Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues Perform brazing and soldering operations Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Work independently and as part of a team in an active industrial environment Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred Experience with commercial and industrial refrigeration systems Proficient with refrigeration piping and system installations Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience with brazing and soldering EPA Universal Certification preferred OSHA 10 Certification preferred Reliable transportation Standard refrigeration/HVAC hand tools Ideal Candidate Profile Successful candidates will have experience similar to technicians who have performed: Commercial refrigeration installations Evaporator and refrigeration case installations Refrigeration piping systems Heat pump and split system work Electrical troubleshooting and repairs Industrial maintenance environments Work Location Boone, NC Winston-Salem, NC Apply Today If you're an experienced refrigeration technician looking for a project with strong hours, per diem, and overtime opportunities, we'd like to hear from you.
