About the Role As a Field Refrigeration Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for the operational integrity of specialized ice-production and automated bagging systems. You will leverage your expertise in HVAC/R diagnostics and electromechanical repair to ensure equipment performance, directly impacting customer satisfaction and system reliability across various retail environments. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifecycles. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within refrigeration and ice-making units. Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify faults in low-voltage control circuits and programmable logic controllers. Document service activities and maintenance logs accurately using mobile handheld technology and reporting software. Operate service vehicles and specialized lifting equipment to perform onsite repairs safely and efficiently. Collaborate with store management to communicate repair status and ensure seamless equipment functionality. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in refrigeration, electrical, or mechanical service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and low-voltage control diagrams. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform tasks involving ladders and power tools. Preferred Skills Journeyman-level certification in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical trades.
