Job Description
Air Conditioning Maint Mech II City of Corpus Christi
- 3.5 Corpus Christi, TX Job Details Full-time $21.63

- Perform Diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on Large Commercial and/or Industrial HVAC elements such as: heating, air conditioning and refrigeration units including but not limited to chillers, boilers and heat pumps
- Repair wiring and electronic components associated with Automated Building Management Systems
- Acquire, store, and dispose of all required refrigerants following all applicable State, Federal, and local Rules and Regulations
- Acquire, store, and dispose of all required chemicals following all applicable State, Federal, and local Rules and Regulations
- Balance air treatment systems
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)/ to capture pertinent data, develop PMS, create WOs, provide reports, and manage workload
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
- Non Exempt
- Full-Time, Monday
- Friday, 8:00 am
- 5:00 pm Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement
- In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services.
- Associate's Degree (AA/AS); or 2 year technical certificate
- T hree (3) Years of Experience Licenses and Certifications Required
- A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire
- Texas Department of Registration and Licensing (TDLR
- Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician Certification
- EPA Certification Employment Testing Employment is contingent on passing any post-offer pre-employment screening as listed below:
