Job Description
Helix Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Repair Specialist LLC is looking for an experienced Commercial Kitchen Repair Technician with strong refrigeration skills to join our service team. We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated technician who can diagnose problems accurately, make quality repairs, and provide professional service to our commercial customers. Compensation & Benefits Up to $53.00 per hour, depending on experience and technical ability 40-60 hours per week Overtime opportunities Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid sick time Paid holidays Tool allowance Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control-system problems. Perform repairs on equipment such as: Walk-in coolers and freezers Reach-in refrigerators and freezers Prep tables and refrigerated equipment Ice machines Fryers Ovens and ranges Griddles and charbroilers Steamers Combi ovens Dishwashing equipment Other commercial foodservice equipment Perform refrigeration system diagnostics, including pressures, temperatures, electrical components, controls, and refrigerant systems Accurately document service performed, parts used, and equipment condition Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management Maintain an organized work area and properly care for company and personal tools Participate in overtime and after-hours service as required Qualifications Commercial refrigeration experience required Experience repairing commercial kitchen/cooking equipment strongly preferred Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to diagnose refrigeration systems efficiently and accurately EPA Section 608 Universal Certification and TDLR required Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical service information Ability to work independently and make sound diagnostic decisions in the field Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong customer-service and communication skills Dependable attendance and professional appearance Ability to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and work in commercial kitchen and refrigeration environments Apply today to join our service team by sending your resume to Admin@HelixRCR.com
