Snelling is seeking a talented Mechanical Service Technician to join a diverse team for a company in the Alabaster area. The service technician will be working on various custom-engineering equipment for foundry, forge, and steelworks environments.

Starting Pay Range:

$23.00-25.00/hr, plus benefits Mechanical Service Technician Job Duties include but are not limited to: Will inspect, service, and repair heavy equipment or components and provide written service reports from findings. Will be responsible for facility and grounds maintenance as needed. Will assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Will assist with spare parts processing as needed.

Mechanical Service Technician Qualifications Required:

2-3 years of service experience, preferably in mechanical repair. Good level of technical aptitude including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems. Proficient in using hand and power tools. General knowledge of common PC software including MS Office, and e-mail.
