Job Description
This is a Part-Time position approximately 25.50 hours per week with scheduled workdays Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Under general supervision, performs work of average difficulty in the operation of transfer station equipment and in the operation, maintenance, and repair of county transfer station facilities. Measures and determines tire loads and charging accordingly. Collects and disposes of solid waste and dead animals from county rights-of-way, assists in removal and disposal of dead trees from county right of way and other property, and assists in abatement of hazard waste sites. Handles cash, gives change, and maintains daily written logs. Operates motor vehicles and equipment not requiring a CDL. Assists in community clean-up operations, Assists in collection and disposal of waste, tires, and appliances. Assists in construction and maintenance of transfers stations. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
