Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Gate Valve Service Technician I to support a major semiconductor client. This hands-on role is responsible for preparing gate valves and related components for the remanufacturing process through disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and packaging activities. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrives in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team supporting critical semiconductor manufacturing operations while gaining valuable experience in equipment refurbishment and maintenance. Responsibilities Disassemble gate valves and related components using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment. Clean components utilizing high-pressure washers, bead blasters, sand blasters, and other approved cleaning methods. Perform routine preventive maintenance on shop equipment in support of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. Prepare and assemble shipping crates and packaging for finished products and replacement parts. Follow established production processes while meeting quality, safety, and productivity goals. Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Work independently and collaboratively to achieve departmental production objectives. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
