A Precision or Fine Instrument Repairer makes, calibrates, repairs, maintains, adjusts and installs mechanical watches and clocks, and nautical, meteorological, optical and other precision instruments and equipment, and sets them for correct performance.
Under supervision, performs duties within the Planning or Building Division of the Development Services Department requiring an understanding of land use and economic development and/or building activities; performs other work as required. Possession of a valid California Class "C" driver's license
O RAL APPRAISAL INTERVIEW
(Weighted 100%): September 10, 2026 (Tentative) An appraisal will be made of the applicant's experience, education, training, certification, knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal qualifications for the position. A minimum passing score of 70% is required.
NOTE:
Admission to the Examination may be limited to those applicants who demonstrate the best combination of qualifications. Applicants possessing the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed admittance to the Examination.
