We specialize in diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and upgrading commercial systems for property managers, HOAs, general contractors, and industrial facilities. We are growing and looking for skilled technicians who take pride in professional diagnostics, clean repairs, and strong customer communication. Position Overview This position is focused on diagnosing commercial doors, gates, and access control systems — and performing proper repairs and part replacements to restore safe and reliable operation. You will respond to service calls involving malfunctioning doors, inoperable gates, failing operators, damaged hardware, and access control system issues. The role requires strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and low-voltage experience. Key Responsibilities Diagnose issues with commercial hollow metal and aluminum storefront doors Repair and replace closers, pivots, panic hardware, hinges, electric strikes, and related components Troubleshoot sectional and rolling steel doors (springs, operators, alignment, damaged parts) Diagnose and repair slide and swing gate operators (DoorKing, LiftMaster, Viking, Ramset, etc.) Troubleshoot and repair access control components including maglocks, keypads, card readers, loop detectors, safety edges, and photo eyes Replace damaged or worn parts to restore full functionality• Identify life-safety or UL325 compliance deficiencies• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers Complete digital work orders and documentation using company systems Maintain organized truck stock and materials Qualifications 3+ years experience in commercial door, gate, or access control service Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Mechanical and low-voltage electrical experience Ability to work independently and manage daily route Professional communication skills Clean driving record Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Performance-based bonus programs Medical Insurance, Vision and Dental Coverage 401(k) with 4% Company Matching Company truck and fuel card Paid holidays and
