Contract Services Group, Service Technician
COMPENSATION RANGE
$26.00 - $27.00
Position Summary :
This role focuses on successful execution on routine maintenance tasks, basic repairs, and maintaining property aesthetics and preventative maintenance inspections. The role also includes supporting special projects and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs maintenance service requests and preventative maintenance of work throughout the community. Completes property preventative maintenance on required systems and mechanical equipment. Ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs Performs turn service for vacant units in accordance with established quality standards. Understanding of progress to key performance indicators and identifying opportunities. Ensures community common areas and grounds are maintained according to company standards; identifies and resolves any hazards. Provides excellent customer service through responsiveness and positive interactions. Performs work using safe work practices. Ensures completion of safety training and actively identifies and mitigates risks. Responsible for inventory of parts and appliances; responsible for general maintenance and orderliness of facilities. Maintains accurate records of work performed utilizing Salesforce Performs community projects which could include painting, drywall repair. stucco repair, etc. Minimum Qualifications /

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. 1+ years of maintenance experience required. Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry. Ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs. Ability to work with limited supervision. Skills required for Service Technicians include but are not limited to: time-management, effective verbal and written communication, and organization.
Other:
Valid California driver's license (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle and is part of the essential duties of this position.) Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability a plus Ability to move in and out of a variety of positions which include the following: sitting, standing, walking, squatting, stair and ladder climbing, kneeling, belly crawling, overhead reaching, lifting, carrying Ability to push and pull up to 118 pounds of force Ability to lift below waist up to 77 pounds and above waist 50 pounds Travel between communities may be required Ability to perform these functions at multiple sites is required
