The team specializes in water damage, mold remediation, and fire and smoke damage restoration. Services are available 24/7, supporting clients during urgent and unexpected property emergencies. Restoration1 OrangeCounty focuses on efficient, high-quality work and reliable customer support to help communities recover quickly and safely. Role Description The Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Orange County, CA. In this position, the technician performs restoration tasks related to water damage, mold remediation, and fire and smoke damage, including assessment, removal, cleanup, and basic repairs. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating restoration equipment, following safety and regulatory guidelines, documenting work performed, and maintaining tools and vehicles. The role also involves interacting with customers on-site, explaining services, and providing professional, respectful support during stressful situations. Technicians may be scheduled for evening or weekend work as part of emergency response needs. Qualifications Strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for property restoration tasks and equipment upkeep. Proficient Troubleshooting abilities to identify damage issues and determine appropriate restoration solutions. Experience in Field Service work REQUIRED, including on-site visits, task documentation, and working independently at customer locations. Demonstrated Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and support clients during emergencies. Ability to lift and move equipment and materials, and perform physically demanding work in various environments. Familiarity with safety practices, PPE use, and basic building systems; restoration or construction experience is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in restoration, mold remediation, or OSHA safety are beneficial.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
